ZTE posts revenues of RMB 81.47 billion in 2014

The telecom equipment vendor ZTE has posted financial results for the full year ended December 2014.
The company has reported total annual net profit of RMB 2.6 billion and revenues of RMB 81.47 billion representing a year-on-year increase of 8.3 per cent. ZTE has attributed growth in profits to higher 4G network equipment and smartphone sales.
Further, revenue from international operations accounted for 50.2 per cent (RMB40.89 billion) of the company’s total revenues.
Going forward, ZTE will focus on pursuing opportunities offered by rich communication suites, cloud services and ‘smart city’, targeting the enterprise sector.
