Shyam Telecom Limited reports an increase in losses for the quarter ended December 2014
Shyam Telecom Limited has registered a loss of Rs 22.93 million for the quarter ended December 2014, as against a net loss of Rs 10.53 million for the quarter ended December 2013. The increase in losses was mainly due to decrease in revenues, which fell from Rs 965.5 million in October-December 2013 to Rs 861.5 million in October-December 2014. The company also reported a loss of Rs 25.85 million in its earnings before other income, finance costs and exceptional items for the quarter ended December 2014, as compared to Rs 11.74 million for the quarter ended December 2013.
In the business segments, telecom products and services posted a decrease in losses from Rs 21.34 million for the quarter ended December 2013 to Rs 1.47 million for the corresponding quarter in 2014.
