Tata Teleservices Maharashtra posts a loss of Rs 1.26 billion for the quarter ended June 30, 2013

Tata Teleservices Maharashtra has registered a loss of Rs 1.26 billion for the quarter ended June 2013. In comparison, the company had reported a loss of Rs 1.62 billion in the corresponding period last year.
The service provider registered a year-on-year increase of 5 per cent in revenues from Rs 6.63 billion to Rs 6.95 billion in the period under review. For the quarter under review, TTSL focused on its wireless broadband business. The company’s value added services and data revenues accounted for 39 per cent of the total wireless revenues
For the quarter under review, the company’s finance cost declined by 9 per cent and stood at Rs 1.37 billion.
