Sify reports revenues of Rs 2,628 million for the first quarter of the financial year 2013-14
Sify Technologies Limited has posted its consolidated results for the first quarter of 2013-14.
For the quarter ended June 30, 2013 the company has registered total revenue of Rs 2,628 million witnessing a growth of 13 per cent in revenue over the corresponding period in 2012. The company’s earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortization for the period under consideration stood at Rs 465 million.
Further, Sify’s net profit for the reported quarter, stood at Rs 163 million as against a net loss of Rs 16 million for the previous quarter. The company’s capex during the quarter stood at Rs 176 million. At the end of the quarter, Sify reported cash balance of Rs 1,085 million.
Commenting on the performance of the company, Kamal Nath, chief executive officer, Sify, said, “This quarter’s result is a clear reflection of Sify 3.0 led strategy and execution plan which were laid down three quarters back. There has been a significant growth in multi-tower engagement with existing and new customers, average deal size and revenue from existing customer base.”
He added, “The highlight of the quarter is the company being awarded a multi-services, multi-technology integration project, covering more than 3500 locations, by India’s largest non-banking financial company.”
