Brocade posts revenues of $578 million for the fourth quarter of 2012

Brocade has posted revenues of $578 million for the fourth quarter of 2012, say news reports.

The company's revenue for the financial 2012 stood at $2,238 million. In the period under consideration, the company's storage area networking (SAN) business revenue, including products and services, increased by 9 per cent year-over-year and stood at $394 million. The company SAN business revenue for the fiscal year stood at $1,578 million, registering an increase of 7 per cent year-over-year.

For the fourth quarter of 2012, the company's IP networking business revenue including products and services, stood at $184 million. The company reported higher revenues for federal and service provider, while it registered a decline in its enterprise business. For the financial year 2012, the company IP networking business clocked revenue of $659 million.
