Cisco upgrades T-Mobile's 4G network

T-Mobile has reportedly appointed Cisco to upgrade its 4G network and manage its existing 2G and 3G networks.
Cisco would be deploying its ASR 5000 series of routers in the operator's network. This exercise is expected to help T-Mobile reduce signaling overhead, distribute session management and optimise video transmissions.
