Batelco appoints Ericsson to deploy its LTE network

Bahrain-based service provider Batelco has partnered with Ericsson to roll out the long term evolution network (LTE) in the country.
Ericsson will supply LTE radio access network and evolved packet core equipment to the operator. It will also help Batelco upgrade its network to the circuit-switched core and operations support system to support the LTE services.
LTE solution provided by Ericsson is expected to help Batelco offer enhanced connectivity and better customer experience to its subscribers.
