Nextra Tele and IBM ink a strategic partnership
Nextra Teleservices, an internet service provider has entered into a strategic partnership with IBM, wherein the latter will provide the IT backbone for Nextra’s broadband infrastructure.
As part of the partnership, IBM will also support Nextra’s business growth by helping it introduce value-added services. The company will deploy IBM’s PureFlex System to remove system bottlenecks, streamline internal processes and ensure uninterrupted high-speed broadband service for individual clients as well as for small and medium companies in Delhi and National Capital Region.
IBM’s Flex Systems are built-to-order offerings for clients who want to custom build and tune configurations to their specific requirements. The system allows clients to select the specific computer, systems networking and optional storage and management required to support their specific computing workloads. IBM Flex System supports cloud computing and can consolidate more than 100 databases on a single system.
