Nokia Siemens Networks to deploy TD-LTE network for China Mobile
October 31, 2012
China Mobile has partnered with Nokia Siemens Networks (NSN) for the deployment of its TDE-LTE network in three cities of China by the end of 2012, say news reports.
The deployment is part of China Mobile's pre-commercial trial of its TD-LTE network. As part of the partnership, NSN will deploy its TD-LTE 8-pipe radio and flexi multiradio base stations in the mobile operator's network. Additionally, NSN will assist China Mobile with circuit switched fallback technology testing in Hangzhou, a technique used to offer voice calls alongside TD-LTE services.
