Juniper Networks powers UberGlobal's cloud offerings
Australia-based web hosting and cloud service provider, UberGlobal has deployed Juniper Networks' MX Series 3D universal edge routers to strengthen its network infrastructure.
The new routers enable UberGlobal to scale the network interconnect between its cloud data centers in Canberra and Sydney to deliver improved services to its enterprise customers.
The company used MX Series 3D routers from Juniper Networks to replace its aging internet border gateways based on their scalability and the streamlined network administration enabled by the Junos operating system.
The routers have enabled UberGlobal to expand its bandwidth, subscribers and services.
Dwayne Varey, chief technology officer, UberGlobal, says, "Deployment of Juniper Networks MX Series 3D universal edge routers represent a significant evolution of our infrastructure, enabling continued rapid growth of customers and services whilst enhancing reliability and security. We're already offering IPv6 services and with Juniper Networks' routers in place, we have the technology to transition customers as quickly as they wish, without any impact on service quality."
