MAIT appoints new president

The Manufacturers Association for Information Technology (MAIT), which represents India’s IT hardware, training and R&D services sectors, has appointed Sandeep Nair as its president for 2010-11. Nair, who is also president of Emerson Network Power, was previously vice-president, MAIT.
