Juniper Networks boosts Indian team

Juniper Networks today announced the strengthening of its Indian market leadership team with the appointments of Ashish Dhawan to lead the company’s enterprise business while Dhananjay Ganjoo (Deej), will head the service provider business. Dhawan and Ganjoo will provide strategic direction to Juniper's key business units with their appointment signifying Juniper’s increased focus on India.

The appointments coincide with Juniper Networks increased success in India, driven by growing demand for the company’s unique and groundbreaking technology offerings.

“The company is undergoing an exciting phase of growth and this is the right time to bring on-board top management talent,” said Ravi Chauhan, managing director, Juniper Networks, India and SAARC. “These appointments are in-sync with the company's vision to transform the experience and economics of networking and to be the most trusted networking solutions company across India. We are confident that their experience, business acumen and leadership skills will expedite the growth of their respective market segments."

Dhawan joins Juniper from Microsoft where he headed the Western region. Prior to Microsoft, he was the country manager for Nortel’s highly successful enterprise business in India. His business and technical expertise in handling the enterprise business in the past will be of great value in expanding Juniper’s foothold in the enterprise space.

Ganjoo also joins Juniper from Microsoft, where he led the Media and Communications business in India. Prior to Microsoft, he spent over 10 years at Nortel in various leadership roles, which included vice president - Business Development, Asia and Middle East. He is widely recognized for his ability to establish trusted relationships, build efficient teams and deliver consistent results and will be invaluable in helping Juniper Networks drive its vision of evolving service models within India's service provider sector.
