Indus Towers appoints Bimal Dayal as its new CEO

Indus Towers has appointed Bimal Dayal as its chief executive officer (CEO)-designate. He will succeed BS Shantharaju who will retire on March 31, 2016.
Dayal has been working at Indus Towers since 2010 as its chief operating officer (COO). Prior to this, he has been associated with Ericsson, Qualcomm and Tata Telecom in various senior management positions. As the managing director of Ericsson in Sri Lanka, Dayal played a pivotal role in making the company a key player in the telecom infrastructure industry.
