Mike Wang as new CEO of OPPO’s Indian operations

Chinese handset maker OPPO has appointed Mike Wang as its new Chief Executive Officer (CEO) for Indian operations. The appointment is effective from August 18, 2015.
Wang joined OPPO in 2005 in its initial years and has held a wide range of leadership positions in the company across South-East Asian markets.
In the current role, Wang will be responsible for building strong marketing, sales and service centers network for the brand in India and achieve the company's vision to be a leader in the Indian market.
Wang replaces Tom Lu, who was CEO since the company's entry into India. Lu is now moving on to a bigger role globally.
