Vodafone India’s CIO Anthony Thomas quits
Anthony Thomas, chief information officer (CIO), Vodafone India has put in his papers at the organistion. His last day at the organisation will be September 15, 2015. Vodafone India is yet to name his successor.
Thomas joined Vodafone India in April 2012 and reportedly played a key role in creating a new centralised information technology structure within the organisaion during his tenure. Further, during his stint at Vodafone India, the operator also rolled out several new technology initiatives including the company's micro financing service M-pesa and also a new data warehouse.
Prior to Vodafone India, Thomas had stints at companies such as Citigroup, Ernst & Young and Intelligroup Inc.
