Qualcomm appoints Sunil Lalvani as president of India operations

US-based chipmaker Qualcomm has appointed Sunil Lalvani as vice-president of Qualcomm Technologies Inc. and president of Qualcomm India.
Lalvani succeeds Avneesh Agrawal who was the senior vice-president and president of Qualcomm India and South Asia.
Prior to joining Qualcom, Lalvani was working with BlackBerry as managing director of India and South Asian Association for Regional Cooperation (SAARC). In the past, he has worked with companies such as EMC Corporation, Nokia Corporation, Cisco Systems and SITA Equant Network (now Orange Business Services).
