Bharti Enterprises appoints Rahul Bhatnagar as MD and CFO
Bharti Enterprises has appointed Rahul Bhatnagar as managing director (MD) and chief financial officer (CFO) of the company. He will report to Bharti Enterprises chairman Sunil Mittal.
Bhatnagar succeeds Manoj Kohli, who recently assumed the role of executive chairman, SBG Cleantech - a three-way JV between Bharti Enterprises, Japan's telecom and Internet major SoftBank and Taiwan’s Foxconn Technology Group. At Bharti Enterprises, he will be responsible for building strategic business value proposition for Bharti's non-telecom businesses and for strengthening the financial management processes and governance of these businesses.
A chartered accountant, Bhatnagar has an MBA degree from Wharton. He has over 35 years of industry experience across diverse industries and has expertise in business strategy, execution, financial management, merger and acquisition, taxation, treasury, marketing intelligence and information technology.
Prior to joining Bharti Enterprises, Bhatnagar was leading the worldwide flavours business as vice-president business services and CFO for Ireland at PepsiCo.
