Sistema Shyam TeleServices Limited (SSTL) has made two new key appointments. The operator has appointed Bijender Yadav as the company’s chief technology officer (CTO) and Ashok Singh as the chief operating officer (COO) of Kolkata and West Bengal circles.

 As CTO, Yadav will be responsible for overall network strategy and operations for SSTL. He joined the company in 2009 and since then has held several key positions at SSTL leading its network planning and strategy function. He has 20 years of industry experience with expertise in telecom networks and green field operations. Yadav will succeed Ashwani Khillan as CTO, who moved out of the company in May 2015 and took over as chief operating officer at American Tower Corporation.

Meanwhile, Singh as COO of Kolkata and West Bengal circles will spearhead operator’s growth and expansion plans in both the circles. Singh has more than 25 years of industry experience with expertise in channel sales, marketing, operations and general management. His last assignment was with Tata TeleServices as COO for Jharkhand circle.
