Airtel’s chief product officer, Anand Chandrasekaran resigns

Anand Chandrasekaran has resigned from the position of chief product officer in Bharti Airtel, after working for 13 months with the company. He will now pursue his own business venture. As chief product officer in Airtel, Chandrasekaran was involved in launching the company’s music service and revamping the My Airtel app.
Prior to joining Airtel, Chandrasekaran was associated with Yahoo as senior director for mobile products. At Yahoo, he worked on mobile search, yahoo answers and focused on local listings, content partnerships and maps. He was also a member of the search leadership team.
