Vivek Anand resigns from the position of chief financial officer at Uninor
Vivek Anand has resigned from the position of chief financial officer (CFO) at Uninor. According to the company, Anand had been instrumental in streamlining the finance deliveries for Uninor. He was responsible for the financial operations at Uninor that included treasury and supply chain management, internal audit, business planning and strategy, accounting, reporting and taxation.
Anand had joined Uninor in May 2014 after its then CFO Prasoon Sinha was elevated to handle Telenor Group’s finance function at headquarters in Oslo. Before joining Uninor, Anand served the position of CFO at Unilever Bangladesh. Prior to his position at Unilever Bangladesh, which he held from 2010 to 2014, he served as the Finance Director at Hindustan Unilever Limited and as Regional Finance Director at Unilever Singapore, responsible for change management program in finance covering all operating countries in Asia, Africa, Middle East and Central Eastern Europe.
