HTC Corporation appoints Faisal Siddiqui as new South Asia President
Taiwan-based mobile handset manufacturer HTC Corporation has appointed Faisal Siddiqui as its new regional president for South Asia. Siddiqui will replace the current president of South Asia, Jack Yang, who has stepped down from the position and will now move into an advisory role during the transition of the South Asia business.
At present, Siddiqui works in the capacity of the vice president and head of the Indian operations of HTC. He has an experience of more than 18 years in companies including Bharti Airtel, Motorola and Nextel Communications. Since 2011, he has been in leadership roles for HTC India and has played an important role in growing HTC’s market share and establishing the company as a brand in the country.
