Manoj Kohli resigns from the board of Bharti Airtel
Manoj Kohli has resigned from the position of a director from the Board of Bharti Airtel. As the Managing Director (MD) of Bharti Enterprises Limited, Kohli was responsible for the growth and operations of the Bharti group of companies including retail, financial services, agro-products, real estate, mobile services, etc.
Prior to this, he held multiple roles as MD and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) (International), CEO (International) and Joint MD, CEO and JMD, President and CEO, President of Mobile Services business at Bharti Airtel since 2002. He joined Escotel, which he led for over five years as Executive Director and CEO, before coming on board at Bharti Airtel.
Kohli holds degrees in Commerce, Law and an MBA from Delhi University. He has also attended the executive business program at the Michigan Business School and the advanced management program at the Wharton Business School.
