Samsung India realigns its top management positions
South Korea-based consumer electronics manufacturer Samsung has announced changes in its top management positions at its Indian business unit. The realignment of the positions come after Ravinder Zutshi, the deputy managing director for India, retired after serving the company for 19 years.
Following this, Sanjay Bali, senior vice-president, human resources, has been transferred to manage relations with different departments and ministries, including human resources, education, environment, women, child development and culture. Also, Bali will manage the operational affairs of Samsung Advisory Board.
Manu Kapoor, vice-president, will look after central government and also manage relations with the Industry bodies. Meanwhile, Deepak Bhardwaj, vice-president, will also manage state government relations.
