Rajesh Rege quits as Director and Country Head, Datacentre and Cloud Business for India and SAARC operations for Cisco Systems India
Rajesh Rege has quit as the Director and Country Head, Datacentre and Cloud Business Entity for India and SAARC operations for Cisco Systems. Under this role, Rajesh was responsible for driving and supervising Cisco's overall growth and expansion efforts in the data centre space in the region.
Prior to this, Rajesh had worked with Alcatel Lucent as Vice President, Global Alliances. At Alcatel Lucent, he was managing a portfolio of India-based partners on a global basis. Before Alcatel, he had spent more than a decade with Sun Microsystems in various leadership roles including director and country head for partner sales organisation and enterprise accounts. He has also been associated with companies like Indigo Technologies as country manager, Reuters as India Sales Head and with Wipro in a number of frontline sales roles.
Further, it is reported that Rajesh will now join Red Hat as its Managing Director in India.
