Ajey Mehta to head Microsoft Devices India’s operations

As per industry reports, Ajey Mehta is likely to be appointed as the managing director of Microsoft Devices India, formerly Nokia India.Currently, Mehta has additional charge of India operations, and heads sales for India, West Asia and Africa. He has been area head for India since August 2014 post the resignation of P Balaji, the erstwhile MD of Nokia India.
Mehta has been with the Nokia group for 10 years and has held several key roles, including that of head of retail in Singapore. In the past he has also worked with Coca Cola India and ITC India.
Microsoft had bought out Nokia's mobile phone business in April 2014.
