RJIL hires BlackBerry veteran Sunil Dutt as president

Reliance Jio Infocomm Limited (RJIL) has appointed Sunil Dutt, BlackBerry’s former head for India, as president.
Besides leading BlackBerry, Dutt has also been associated with organisations such as Samsung Electronics India, HP, Nokia, Philips India, Whirlpool, Wipro Limited and Barista.
RJIL’s move to hire Dutt comes ahead of the impending launch of 4G services by the company in second half of 2014. Over the past few months, the company has been on a hiring spree and has got on board several leading industry executives including Sandip Das, former chief executive officer, Maxis.
