Verizon appoints Chris Formant to lead the company’s enterprise business
Verizon has appointed Christopher Formant as president to head the company’s Enterprise Solutions division.
Formant will be responsible for delivering business solutions to Verizon’s global enterprise clients across industries such as healthcare and insurance; financial services; technology; manufacturing, distribution, automotive and distribution; retail; energy and utilities; and the public sector. He will oversee sales, operations and marketing of the Verizon Enterprise Solutions encompassing areas including intelligent networking, dynamic cloud, mobile workforce, connected machines, security and professional service engagements.
Prior to joining Verizon, Formant served as senior vice-president and president of Avaya Government Solutions and Avaya Professional Services. He has also held executive positions at PricewaterhouseCoopers and MBNA Corporation.
