Yahoo appoints Alex Stamos as chief information security officer

Yahoo has appointed Alex Stamos as chief information security officer. He will lead the company’s Yahoo Paranoids team which is responsible for delivering secure products and solutions.
Stamos will report to Jay Rossiter, senior vice-president, platforms and personalisation products, Yahoo. Prior to joining Yahoo, he served as chief technology officer, Artemis.
