RCOM appoints Vinod Sawhny as CEO

Reliance Communication has appointed former Bharti Airtel executive Vinod Sawhny as chief executive officer.
He has 30 years of industry experience and at Bharti Airtel, led the operator’s mobile phone manufacturing division - Airtel Mobility. Sawhny will be taking over from Gurdeep Singh, who will now head RCOM’s consumer business arm comprising wireless, DTH and consumer broadband divisions.
Besides, Bharti Airtel, Sawhny has also worked with Spice Telecom.
