Bharti Airtel appoints Manish Prakash as director, enterprise and government business
Bharti Airtel has appointed Manish Prakash as the director for its enterprise and government business. He will directly report to Gopal Vittal, joint managing director and chief executive officer (India) Bharti Airtel Limited.
In his role, Prakash will be responsible for overall strategy and leadership for the company’s business-to-business segment in India. His mandate will be to consolidate Bharti Airtel’s enterprise and government businesses, devise and execute growth strategies and lead product innovation. Prakash will also be a part of the Airtel Management Board.
Prakash has more than 20 years of industry experience. Prior to joining Bharti Airtel, Prakash was associated with Accenture as managing director, infrastructure managed services for Asia-Pacific and Japan. In the past he has also been associated with companies such as SK C&C, Tech Mahindra, IBM and Hewlett-Packard.
