Telenor chairman resigns

Chairman of Norway-based Telenor, Harald Norvik, has submitted his resignation to the board of directors. Earlier, the Norwegian government, which owns 54 per cent stake in the Telenor Group, expressed lack of confidence in Norvik’s decision to sell Telenor’s stake in Norway-based commercial channel TV2 in January 2012.
