Bharti Airtel launches its 4G services in Tirupur, Tamil Nadu

Bharti Airtel has launched 4G services in Tirupur in Tamil Nadu following an encouraging response in Chennai, Vellore, Madurai, Puducherry, Coimbatore and Tiruchullapalli.
The 4G service will be available to customers on 4G handsets and dongles at a tariff of 3G services, with data packs starting at Rs 28. The operator is also offering infinity plans for heavy-data users at a price of Rs 999. These services can be accessed through 4G base stations or 4G Wi-Fi hotspot.
Airtel was the first operator to launch commercial 4G services in India, with their introduction in the Kolkata circle in April 2012. The operator had completed launching 4G services in 296 towns across India by August 2015.
