Bharti Airtel launches Wi-Fi app, Hangout
Bharti Airtel has launched its new Wi-Fi application, Hangout.
Airtel customers can download the Hangout app free from Android or iOS store and seamlessly latch on to the network of company's Wi-Fi zones to experience faster internet speeds.
An Airtel customer will have to validate his/her phone number to start the session on Airtel Hangout. Once validated, every time the customer is near an Airtel Wi-Fi zone, he/she will automatically connect to the Wi-Fi network if he/she has given his/her consent to auto connect. Else, he/she will get notified about the Wi-Fi network and can connect to the network manually.
Airtel customers will be required to have an activated Airtel 3G/4G pack/plan since the Wi-Fi data consumption will be charged from this pack/plan.
