Idea Cellular has tied up with Opera Mini, to offer a customised Opera Mini mobile web browser to its subscribers.
Beginning April 2012, Idea customers will be able to download this co-branded version of Opera Mini on their devices.
Commenting on the tie-up, Shashi Shankar, chief marketing officer, Idea Cellular said, “In emerging markets such as India, the mobile phone will soon become the primary way of accessing the Internet. We are arming ourselves with the best-in-class solutions for catering to this data-hungry population.”
