Tata DOCOMO has introduced the MyFamily plan for its postpaid customers.

Launching three different variants under this offer, postpaid customers can select any plan that suits their requirement. MyFamily plans come with a host of benefits, available in a common pool-like free airtime that can be used to make local and STD calls, free local and STD SMS and most important data usage that can be utilised for accessing 2G or 3G data services. Customers also get a closed user group (CUG) offer of free local calling.

“This is yet another industry first from Tata DOCOMO and is another key step in our constant endeavor to simplify and uncomplicate telecom services. Starting today, postpaid customers can stop worrying about managing multiple bills, multiple plans, and multiple payments dates. With MyFamily Plans the family can now benefit from buying into telecom as a single unit and eat from a very large common pool of minutes, data and SMS,” says Gurinder Singh Sandhu, head corporate marketing, Tata Teleservices Limited.

Three MyFamily plans are currently available, including: the Small Family @ 999, Medium Family @ 1999 and Large Family @ 2999. Under these plans, customer can take up to three connections in the small family and up to five connections in medium and large family. Under the MyFamily Small Plan 999, customers get free 3000 mins for local and STD calls, free 1000 CUG minutes to make local calls 500 free local or STD SMS and 512 MB data consumption. Under the MyFamily Medium 1999 plan, customers get free 6000 mins for local and STD calls, free local 1500 CUG minutes, 1000 free local or STD SMS and free 1GB data consumption. Under the MyFamily Large 2999 plan, customers get free 10000 minutes for local and STD calls, free local 2000 CUG minutes, 1500 free local or STD SMS and free 2GB data consumption.

After consumption of free airtime in the MyFamily plans, customers will be charged Re 0.01 per second for all local and STD calls. By availing this unique offer customers would get a single bill and thus a one stop solution for all family telecom needs with a single bill for greater convenience.
