Asus India has launched the ZenFone Selfie smartphone in India. The 32 GB variant of the smartphone with 3GB RAM is priced at Rs 17,999, while the 16 GB variant with 2 GB RAM is priced at Rs 15,999.

The smartphone features a 5.5-inch full HD screen with 1080x1920 pixles resolution and runs on Android 5.0 (Lollipop) operating system. It is powered by a 64-bit octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 processor with Adreno 405 GPU. The smartphone has a 13 MP rear and front camera with f/2.0 aperture, 28mm focal length, and dual-colour real tone flash.

The device is equipped with a 3,000 mAh battery and offers 4G LTE, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS with A-GPS and GLONASS, WiFi (a/b/g/n/ac) connectivity options.  The smartphone is available in Aqua Blue and Pink colour variants.
