Samsung has launched its Samsung Galaxy Note 5 smartphone in India. The phone is available in 32 GB and 64 GB variants which are priced at Rs 53,900 and Rs 59,900 respectively.
The device features a 5.7-inch quad HD Super AMOLED display and is powered by octa-core Exynos 7420 processor with 4GB RAM. It runs on the Android Lollipop operating system and a 3,000mAh battery which can be wirelessly charged. The smartphone comes with a 16 megapixel rear camera and a 5 megapixel front camera. For connectivity the smartphone has Bluetooth 4.2, Wi-Fi 802.11, GPS/ A-GPS, and micro-USB 2.0.
The phone comes with additional features such as like Live Video Broadcast, Video Collage and Video Highlight, which the company claims were designed by the Indian arm of its research and development division. The device will be available in three colour variants-black sapphire, gold platinum and silver titan from September 20, 2015 onwards.
