HTC Corporation has launched the Desire 816G (2015) smartphone in India at a price of Rs 19,990. The dual-SIM smartphone has a 5.5-inch HD display with a screen resolution of 720x1280 pixels. It is powered by a 1.7 GHz octa-core processor and has 1 GB of RAM. Further, it has an internal storage capacity of 16 GB, which is further expandable up to 32 GB through a microSD card.

The Desire 816G (2015) features a 13 megapixel primary camera with a BSI sensor and flash, along with a 5 megapixel front-facing camera. It offers connectivity options including 3G, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, micro-USB 2.0, 3.5mm jack, and GPS/ A-GPS. The other specifications of the smartphone include accelerometer, proximity sensor, digital compass, and ambient light sensor and a 2600 mAh battery.
