Micromax Informatics Limited has launched the Canvas Selfie smartphone in India. The dual-SIM smartphone has a 4.7-inch HD IPS display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection and a screen resolution of 720x1280 pixels. It is powered by a 1.7 GHz octa-core processor and operates on Android 4.4 KitKat out-of-the-box operating system. It has 2 GB of RAM and 16 GB of internal storage, which is further expandable up to 32 GB through a microSD card.

It features 13 megapixel front-facing and primary cameras that have LED flash modules and Sony sensors. The Canvas Selfie offers connectivity options like Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi, micro-USB, GPRS/ EDGE, and 3G. It is further supported by a battery capacity of 2300mAh.
