The Shenzhen-based mobile handset manufacturer, OnePlus Tech has launched its only smartphone, OnePlus One in India for a price of Rs 21,999. The smartphone has a 5.5-inch IPS LCD display with a resolution of 1080x1920 pixels. It is powered by a 2.5 GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 with Adreno 330 GPU and runs on CyanogenMod 11S operating system. It has 3 GB of RAM and an internal storage capacity of 64 GB which cannot be expanded further.
The OnePlus One smartphone features a 13 megapixel primary IMX214 sensor camera with six lenses and an aperture of f/2.0 along with a 5 megapixel front-facing camera. It offers connectivity options like 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 4.0, and NFC functionality. It further has a battery capacity of 3100mAh.
The smartphone has been launched in India exclusively on the e-commerce website of Amazon. Also, the company has followed the invite-only sales model for selling OnePlus One in India. It has been using the same model of sales for the smartphone across the world ever since it was launched globally in April 2014.
