Talking about his long association with Citrix Systems, he says, “I enjoy working at Citrix Systems. The company continues to provide me with opportunities to engage with customers and help them in bringing transformation and efficiency through technology use in their organisations.”
Citrix Systems’ strategy is focused on making telecom a key business segment for the company. It offers operators innovative products and services in the network and virtualisation space. In the virtualisation space, for instance, Citrix Systems is focusing on offerings that can help operators manage their end-to-end delivery system and secure content on their networks. In addition, the company is concentrating on providing operators solutions for delivering content on multiple platforms, given the growing use of mobility devices and applications by operators’ workforce.
Khare acquired an MBA from the Institute of Finance and International Management, Bengaluru. In the past, he has worked with Powertel Boca India.
As a professional, he counts his quick decision-making ability, his eye for the bigger picture and strong people relationships as his key strengths. As a leader, he believes in empowering his team and effectively delegating work while undertaking periodic reviews to ensure that his team is on the right track to achieve the goals set for them. “I go by the philosophy of disagreeing while agreeing,” he says. “Essentially this means that the team members can have different views on a matter. However, once the team agrees on a certain course of action, everyone needs to be on the same page to achieve the set goals.”
A technology enthusiast, Khare spends a lot of time providing technology-related advice to budding entrepreneurs. In fact, he aspires to be an entrepreneur himself at some point and set up something of his own in the technology space.
Khare likes to unwind by going on long drives and spending time with his wife and their five-year-old child.
