Tata Communications has entered into a partnership with Russia's RTComm to provide joint data services to carriers in Russia and the rest of the world. RTComm is one of the leading companies in the Russian telecom market and is part of the Rostelecom Group.
This partnership will enable RTComm to deliver global network services to its local customers, while Tata Communications will increase its global footprint into this emerging market through RTComm's local network. Meanwhile, Tata Communications has decided to introduce telepresence exchange services for Cisco TelePresence. The new service, called Global Meeting Exchange, will support meetings between any connected private and public Cisco TelePresence rooms.
