Bharti Airtel has launched mobile services in Sri Lanka, becoming the island country's fifth mobile operator. The company intends to invest about $200 million on its network rollout in the country. Airtel also intends to replicate its Indian business model in Sri Lanka. In India, Bharti Airtel has outsourced all key functions, including network management, IT services and customer care activities.
