RCOM has launched the country's first prepaid BlackBerry service on both GSM and CDMA platforms. It has introduced two tariff plans for it – Plan 1299 and Plan 1599. In both, Reliance to Reliance mobile local and intra-circle calls are free. So far, BlackBerry is available only on post-paid plans of Vodafone Essar and Bharti Airtel.
