July 15, 2005
The Delhi High Court has stayed Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited's (BSNL) move to levy interconnection charges of Rs 9.5 million on Tata Teleservices Limited (TTSL) for its Walky fixed wireless service. An earlier order had asked TTSL to pay 50 per cent of the Rs 9.5 million within four weeks. BSNL had levied this charge by treating Walky as a limited mobile service.
