Himachal Futuristic Communications Limited (HFCL), which is reported to have a stake in Videocon's telecom subsidiary Datacom, has alleged that Videocon has been ignoring its minority shareholders in taking important decisions. It is also learnt that fearing legal action by HFCL, Videocon has filed a caveat in major high courts of the country against any judicial order prior to a hearing. According to industry sources, 90 per cent of Datacom was initially owned by HFCL-backed Jumbo Techno Services, which later sold around 64 per cent stake in Datacom to Videocon.
