Tata Communications has signed a partnership agreement with Telecom Egypt's subsidiary TE Data SAE for expanding its virtual private network services to Egypt.

Tata Communications has signed a partnership agreement with Telecom Egypt's subsidiary TE Data SAE for expanding its virtual private network services to Egypt. Both the companies have pooled their infrastructures to set up multiple, network-to-network interconnection points that will connect Tata Communications' European and Indian network hubs with TE Data's facilities in Egypt. Tata Communications already offers multi-protocol label switching services in almost 40 countries and plans to expand its reach to over 50 by end-2008.
