The Telecom Disputes Settlement and Appellate Tribunal (TDSAT) has refused to grant a stay on the allocation of new licences and spectrum, as requested by the Cellular Operators Association of India (COAI) in a petition.

The Telecom Disputes Settlement and Appellate Tribunal (TDSAT) has refused to grant a stay on the allocation of new licences and spectrum, as requested by the Cellular Operators Association of India (COAI) in a petition. This clears the way for DoT to go ahead with the process of awarding LoIs, followed by licences and spectrum to new applicants.
