Bharti Airtel has awarded a three-year $150 million contract to B Chinese vendor Huawei Technologies for building and managing the GSM mobile infrastructure of Bharti Airtel Lanka, Bharti's Sri Lankan subsidiary. Under the deal, Huawei will deploy and manage Bharti Airtel Lanka's 2G and 3G networks, Node Bs, base transceiver stations and comprehensive end-to-end 2G and 3G network solutions.
