BSNL plans to invest Rs 600 billion over the next three years. The company targets to increase its revenue from Rs 390 billion in 2005-06 to Rs 900 billion by 2010-11. To this end, it is focusing on an additional 108 million mobile connections at the rate of 3 million new GSM connections a month, for the next three years. The company is also placing orders for equipment to generate the additional voice traffic.
